At The Bricks Agency, one of our goals is to pass along what we’ve learned to the next generation, while simultaneously exposing our staff to the latest trends and ideas. As a teaching agency, we are always open to taking on new interns.
An internship with our agency will provide you with real world experience in a variety of areas from client relations to strategy development and implementation. Interns at The Bricks Agency don’t fetch coffee or hold someone’s coat at meetings. Each is assigned specific tasks with expectations and deadlines and the opportunity to learn from the experience.
To participate, you must apply and be interviewed, just as you would with any other job. We’ll ask you some important questions like, “What do you want out of an internship? Are there specific things you’d like to learn?” We hope you’ll have questions of your own for us as well!
We have internship opportunities year around in the following fields: Graphic Design, Web Development (Coding / WordPress), Marketing, Content Strategy, Copywriting, Business Development.
Guidelines for an Internship with The Bricks Agency:
- Internships are 4-6 weeks, depending on hours and availability.
- Applicants be over the age of 18 and available at least 10 hours per week on a regular schedule.
- Applicants should be enrolled in an accredited secondary education program at a college, university or tech school.
- Interns will keep a daily log / diary of activity and, at the end, will be asked to write an essay outlining their experiences with The Bricks Agency and letting us know how we did in helping advance his or her education.
Your performance is evaluated throughout the internship period and we encourage you to ask questions and be proactive about learning while you’re with us. It’s a win-win for everyone involved.
